FOURTH GRADE

We have been studying geometry, fractions, and decimals in the mathematics part of our learning. We also have been examining different parts of the state of Virginia, especially the Jamestown Settlement.
There are many forms of technology at our school such as the telephone, computer, design technology and the calculator. We also integrate literature with design technology and one project involved "The Great Kapok Tree". We were able to see what it is like in the rainforest and then decorate our classroom. Using the computer, we published our own stories. Research has been fun using CD roms and the Internet. We really like math, computer, art, P.E. music and writing . Of course, going outside is our favorite.
